Taharah Vision

Providing clean water, safe sanitation and washing facilities to the underprivileged, to improve their health and uplift their dignity in the community.

Taharah Mission

Building access to clean water and sanitation facilities in areas of greatest need, especially in water-stressed areas.

We are also committed to educating the public about the importance of hygiene, both in terms of health and values in Islamic teachings, especially related to ablution and worship.

We are supported by influential figures in leadership and industry, and plan to collaborate with schools and universities in hygiene and public health education efforts.

We continue to be open to partnering with various parties-both at the national and regional levels-including government agencies, the private sector, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and communities directly.

We will also work with universities and companies to expand the reach and impact of our projects to more areas in need.

Taharah Steps

We Build Spaces that Bring Communities Together

We don’t just build toilets, but create spaces that become gathering places for people while carrying out their daily activities, such as washing and cleaning.

Professionally Designed

All facilities are designed to mature architectural and engineering standards, ensuring the buildings last long enough to serve the community. All materials are sourced locally to support the local economy.

Educating the Public

We raise awareness about the importance of clean water and proper sanitation, both from a health and spiritual perspective.

Assured Operations

All operational costs, such as electricity and facility maintenance, are fully covered by Taharah to keep the service running without a hitch.

Community Empowerment

Local participation creates a sense of ownership and responsibility for the facilities that have been built.

Transparency in Funding

All properties are 100% owned by Taharah (a non-profit organization) with clear land ownership, ensuring no future claims. All funds received are used entirely for Taharah projects.

Sustainable Innovation

We continue to work on sustainable solutions, such as bio-toilets and solar energy, to ensure access to sanitation even in remote areas.
